Q: How do players get the games onto their phones? TOP

A: There are two main ways in which a player can download the phone games.

1. The player can download games using a short code plus specific keywords for the game and their model of phone. Once the short code and keywords are entered, a package is generated and automatically installed on the player's phone if they accept the download. Clients wishing to offer this to their players need to purchase services from a supported short code provider, and then supply the short code and keywords to players via an HTML page, WML page, email, etc.

2. Games can be downloaded directly from a WAP portal by clicking on a link embedded in the portal.

The size of the JAR file to be downloaded ranges depends on the phone model; if the phone has a larger screen size, the graphics are larger, and therefore the JAR size is larger.

Players can choose which combination of games and features they want to download, and then download them as a single suite.

Some clients have modified their web sites so that players are able to use a mobile phone browser or PC web browser to interact with the Mobile Game content server. At the download site, they enter their mobile phone number, select the make of the phone and select the games they want to download. The system then sends an SMS message to the player's phone. The SMS will trigger the OTA (over-the-air) download of the game(s) to the player's phone. Building such a site is the responsibility of the client.

Q: Can players register with my site over the phone? TOP

A: Yes. If you are deploying the mobile casino as a standalone product, players can register over the phone without visiting a web site. If you are integrating your mobile casino with an existing operation, players who have previously registered at your site can just log in using their existing user names and passwords, or they can register with your system over the phone.

Players can play the games in a Play-For-Fun mode without completing the login and do not have to be registered to play for fun. If players want to play for real funds and are not registered, they will be prompted to complete the registration process.

A sticky user name feature allows the last user name entered to be stored on the phone locally, retrieved and displayed automatically on the login screen.

Q: How can players fund their accounts so they can play for real money on the phones?

A: Funding is currently via Internet with chip transfers activated by phone. Future plans include additional Mpayment and SMS payment solutions.

If you will be integrating the Chartwell Mobile Casino with a current operation, players can move funds between their mobile account and other accounts (typically a sportsbook) over the phone via a common wallet.

Full deposit/withdrawal capability over the phone is in development.

The Chartwell Gaming System supports any and all currencies you wish to offer your players. The system also supports having more than one account in the same currency, such as a bonus account and a deposited money account.
